Nimrokh Media is a pioneering digital platform for women’s voices in Afghanistan, dedicated to addressing urgent issues such as civil and political rights, gender apartheid, and the ongoing struggles of Afghan women human rights defenders and the broader women’s movement.  

Since 2021, Nimrokh has focused on documenting and reporting on the lived realities of women and girls under Taliban rule, covering topics from bodily autonomy, menstrual health, sexual and gender-based violence, forced marriage, to discrimination against people with diverse sexual orientation and gender-identity. Nimrokh also celebrates the achievements of Afghan women in politics, culture and sports. By centering these issues, Nimrokh seeks to inform discourse in and about Afghanistan.
