LEARN Afghan provides innovative, community-driven solutions to address the multiple challenges facing young women and girls in Afghanistan, including lack of education and opportunities for employment.

It addresses the denial of  education for girls and young women by providing quality education via secure digital and in person schools. LEARN’s programmes also include English Language training, courses in journalism to help students access further education and employment, and a  midwife training programme for young women in rural areas to create career opportunities and address healthcare scarcity. 

LEARN’s approach is holistic – empowering women and girls in order that they can contribute to strengthening healthcare provision, education and stability within their communities.
